Led by historian Dr. Jared Peatman, political scientist Dr. Casey Burgat, and CEPL Executive Director Dr. Natalie Houghtby-Haddon, the "America 250: The Decisions That Made Us" series explores pivotal moments and topics in our nation's past.
Designed for Executive Education, this program looks back at historical milestones to offer modern leaders practical tools to improve their performance today. Participants will examine the strategies, challenges, and inner workings of the government and military to draw actionable insights for their own leadership journeys

Description: Celebrating the release of A Hell of a Regiment: To Gettysburg and Beyond with the Twentieth Maine. This talk explores the leadership and performance insights Dr. Peatman unearthed while writing this new history of the famous Civil War unit.

Immersive Leadership Experience
Date: September 14-15
Cost: $2,495
Location: In-person (Various Washington D.C. Memorials & Sessions)
Description: A capstone in-person leadership development experience featuring:
Visionary Monuments: A field trip to explore the Jefferson, Mason, Lincoln, and King Memorials, tracing the arc of the Declaration of Independence across 250 years.
Vision, Vector, and Voice: Dr. Houghtby-Haddon helps participants workshop their takeaways from the monuments to discover their own vision and voice.
Working with Congress: A half-day session to help participants understand the drivers of Congress and how to apply that insight to their work.
The FDR Memorial: A trip for learning and reflection on Franklin Roosevelt's accomplishments and your own leadership journey.
