The Emerging Coach Series (eCo Series) is focused on supporting the new coach in their journey of learning, growing, and community building. The series features sessions with our coaching program alumni who bring in a question that the community will co-explore and work with. The space is also open to those curious about coaching who might want to explore and learn more about this path.

Embodying Coaching Mindset for Intentional Business Development

This interactive session will bring a different lens/perspective allowing self-awareness and mindfulness tools to bring an open, curious, flexible, and client centered coaching mindset into setting up and growing your coaching business. The session will provide depth into the intentional interconnectedness of the "who" element of you as a coach and the "what" aspects of your business entity development goals. There will be space for reflection and embodiment of what resonates with you and your coaching business. This session can also be useful to those with consulting and wellness entrepreneurs.

Neelam is an ICF credentialed Professional Certified Coach who is passionate about empowering authentic, courageous, and inclusive leadership transformations in her clients through a whole human development approach. She is an alumni of the e-CO Leadership Certification program offered through The George Washington University's Center for Excellence in Public Leadership. Neelam is an entrepreneur with 2 business entities she runs. In her coaching business, she serves leaders in corporate, small business, and government environments. To further broaden her purpose driven impact, she facilitates leadership mindset development workshops based on mindfulness practices and concepts.She is also engaged in the community through her pro bono work as a Coach and workshop facilitator for Social Entrepreneurs (supporting UN’s SDGs), various BIPOC leaders, retiring/retired Veterans, Small business owners, and University Students. Neelam also serves at the ICF Metro DC chapter on their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Core Team bringing learning and development in DEI space to the coaching community.

The Power of Silence in Coaching Sessions

In this session, we will explore the profound impact and transformative power of silence in coaching. While coaching is often associated with asking thought-provoking questions and engaging in dynamic conversations, we will examine how silence can create the space for clarity, insight, and authentic transformation in the coaching journey. During the session, we will integrate insights from both spiritual practices and neuroscientific research to explore the significance of silence. We will also engage in a brief practice to experience how incorporating silence into our sessions and lives can enhance the way we serve our clients.

Pauline de Castelnau is an international leadership and transition coach with experience across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, and Africa. She helps leaders expand their leadership capacities and achieve remarkable results for their organizations while also serving, empowering, and inspiring others. Her experience spans international organizations, non-profits, and the private sector. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, a graduate of the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at George Washington University, and holds a certificate in Neuroscience Coaching from the European Academy of Neurosciences. She offers services in both English and French.
