Anastasiia Gevel is the Cafritz Awards Program Coordinator at the George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (CEPL). Anastasiia brings extensive experience in program coordination, research, and nonprofit development. With expertise in business management, policy analysis, and international development, she plays a key role in supporting the Center’s leadership programs and initiatives, collaborating closely with faculty, partners, and participants to ensure seamless program execution.

Before joining CEPL, Anastasiia served as a Non-Profit Coordinator at Match Point Tennis Academy LLC, where she led grant development efforts, cultivated partnerships, and managed community outreach initiatives. She also played a pivotal role in organizing athletic and public events, enhancing the organization’s visibility and engagement. Her previous experience includes working as a Cultural Orientation Intern at the International Rescue Committee, where she facilitated refugee resettlement by connecting individuals with essential resources and support networks.

Anastasiia is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Management at the George Washington University School of Business, with a focus on finance, data analysis, and digital marketing analytics, and is set to graduate in May 2025. Fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish, she is passionate about public service, leadership development, and strategic program implementation.
