Amita Sherwood
Amita Sherwood has been working with process improvement programs such as Lean and Six Sigma since 2000 when she was a member of GE Capital’s Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) and was certified as a Black Belt early in her career. After working in various GE Capital businesses, Amita began consulting in 2004 at BearingPoint and supported several Department of Defense organizations launch Lean Six Sigma programs. In 2006, Amita transitioned to Oriel STAT A MATRIX where she designed and delivered all levels of Lean Six Sigma training and consulting to hundreds of individuals.
Amita established E Squared Solutions in 2013 and has assisted numerous organizations in all aspects of their continuous improvement efforts such as program design and deployment, training and coaching individuals, and coaching leaders. She has worked in a variety of industries including Federal, state, and local government, healthcare, financial services, services, higher education, energy, and information technology.
Amita’s clients include: Nationwide, Constellation, Ernst & Young, George Washington University Hospital, ARYZTA, Accuray, R. Riveter, U.S. Dept. of Veterans Administration, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture – National Resource Conservation Service, Joint Special Operations Command, and Village of Pinehurst.
