Samantha V. Luna serves as the Financial Administrator & Training Specialist at the George Washington University's Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (GW CEPL). In this role, she oversees the Center's financial and business operations for a complex portfolio of training programs and community engagement initiatives.
 
She brings more than 12 years of experience in higher education and non-profit management, specializing in financial analysis, budget management, accounting, and internal controls. Before coming to GW, she held a number of administrative and academic advisory positions at the University of New Mexico, supporting the administration and due diligence reviews of Title V Education Grants.
 
Ms. Luna is a certified Her Circle Leadership Coach, and has recently earned her certification in e-Co Leadership Coaching from GW CEPL. Building on her expertise in financial management and accounting, she works with clients to end generational poverty by helping them to take ownership of their financial wellness plan. 
 
Ms. Luna graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors in Spanish and American Studies and completed her Masters of Accountancy at the George Washington University School of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and mentoring youth in underserved communities.
