Chrystal Checketts is an executive coach, organizational consultant, and trainer focused on helping mission-driven individuals and organizations thrive. She brings a depth of connection and experience that has helped to start, manage, and grow programs, initiatives, and businesses at national, state, and local levels. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, she has worked with national associations with global reach, nonprofits, and public affairs firms in Washington, D.C., and facilitated initiatives and educational programs for elected officials, entrepreneurs, and startups. Building and advancing teams and partnerships in complex organizations and among related stakeholders is a large component of her work.

Part of a third-generation farming and ranching family, Chrystal has a deep appreciation for nature as a teacher and powerful healer for leaders at every level. Her coaching and consulting are informed by an understanding of the power of commitment to personal growth and the impact on collective well-being. Her transformational coaching is rooted in the e-Co Leadership Model from The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership. She is a practitioner-in-training at the International Institute of Dreaming and Imagery, and a Certified Culture Consultant through the Barrett Values Center. During her career, Checketts has successfully created and implemented internal and external communication strategies for national and state-wide systems, numerous educational initiatives, and professional leadership development programs. In addition, she has effectively coordinated diverse teams of individuals, volunteers, and co-workers to manage multi-million dollar budgets, develop training programs, form consortia, and deliver conferences and events for audiences ranging from 30 – to over 1,000 individuals. Food security, higher education, democracy, equity, leadership, and making sense of how urban and rural lived experiences influence workplace cultures are areas she cares deeply about.
