Lindsay Burr is a Senior Fellow at the George Washington University's Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (GW CEPL), and the Chief Executive Officer of the Yarbrough Group, a company that focuses on organizational development and interpersonal communication.
Lindsay’s focus is on helping people navigate systems by communicating more clearly with themselves and with others. She loves supporting people’s abilities to achieve goals that matter to them. Her specialty is on navigating conflict and communicating across diverse experiences. Lindsay has developed and implemented trainings for leadership, influence, conflict, power, authenticity and DEIB in corporate, non-profit and military settings.
Based in Washington, DC, much of Lindsay’s background is politically focused. Lindsay worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Governance where she created learning and best practice sharing opportunities for members of parliament from over 20 countries so their governments could accomplish goals in innovative ways.
Previously, Lindsay worked on renewable energy, including solar and wind energies. She was the Political Director for a congressional reelection campaign and prior to that worked on several political campaigns that were both for candidates and issues.
She has worked with USDA, DOD, Federal Congressional Offices, Multi-national Companies, District of Columbia, domestic policy firms, NGOs and more.

Lindsay Burr supports leaders and teams in seeing what is clearly so that they can make choices about what will be more aligned with the outcome they want.
Lindsay has traveled to over 40 countries, bringing her understanding of different cultures into her work. She believes there is always more to learn about how people live and the values they uphold in daily life. Lindsay integrates this knowledge into her professional endeavors and into raising her daughter, whom she hopes will become a global citizen.
