Moe Nikbakhshian

Director, Enterprise Risk Management and Big Data Initiatives

Moe Nikbakhshian is the Program Director for Enterprise Risk Management and Big Data initiatives at the GW College of Professional Studies (CPS).

In this capacity Mr. Nikbakhshian developed and executed go-to-market initiatives for the public sector, focusing on strategic areas of growth, such as Enterprise Risk Management, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and emerging technologies (IoT, Blockchain, Smart Cities, Data Analytics). He also brings significant experience in sales, business development, as well as strategic alliance planning and execution, serving commercial and public sector clients both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Nikbakhshian had spent his career in enterprise technology solutions, working for companies such as the IBM and Boeing Computer Services. Prior to coming to GW, he managed his own consulting practice, KN Global Services, supporting federal government agencies on all phases of passive and active IT, Physical Security, Commissioning, Energy Management design, modernization and execution of several federal buildings. 

Mr. Nikbakhshian co-chairs the Big Data Initiative Committee at the Northern Virginia Technology Council. He holds a Masters degree from GW in Operations Research and Computer Science, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Tehran.
