Kateryna Pyatybratova is a proud member of the GWU Colonials staff, and a three-time alumna of The George Washington University.
 
She currently serves in dual roles as the Director for Strategic Marketing and Business Development, and as the Director of the Cafritz Awards Program for the GWU Center for Excellence in Public Leadership.
 
Powerful stories of change  - this is where Kateryna finds her inspiration and drive to tell the stories of the unsung DC Government heroes that serve our nation's capital day in and day out.  
 
Kateryna graduated summa cum laude from the GW Elliott School of International Affairs in 2011, and completed a Joint M.B.A. and a Master’s degree program in European & Eurasian Studies in 2016. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Prior to coming to GW-CEPL Kateryna has worked and interned at various nonprofit and government organizations, including the International Institute for Strategic Studies, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and Peace Corps.
 
Committed to serving her community, Kateryna co-founded the Women Inspire Action project in 2013, and currently serves as the Advisory Council Director at the Women’s Information Network, DC's premier professional, political, and social network dedicated to empowering young, pro-choice, Democratic women.
