Integral Coach
Julie is an executive coach, organization development and team development consultant and facilitator working with executives and managers to be more resourceful, grounded and wise as they navigate the ever-changing, fast-moving, uncertain, challenging, and demanding circumstances of their work and the world. 
 
Julie works across private, public and civil society sectors, with leaders committed to being catalysts for change. She has coached leaders and managers as they grow or scale their organizations, balancing vision and operations, as well as technical staff as they move into management and leadership roles. She facilitates teams in aligning on mission and goals and creating plans for implementation, as well as navigating organizational transition.
 
Julie works with staff at all levels to cultivate their ability to lead from wherever they sit in their organization. She utilizes a broad range of approaches and tools including: emotional intelligence, mindful awareness, frameworks for building effective and satisfying work relationships, sustaining well-being, and practical applied neurobiology. 
 
Clients have included Verizon, Google, AMD, Levi Strauss, Abbott Labs, Celgene, Cisco Systems, International Rescue Committee, Justice Resource Institute, Cultural Vistas, Net Impact, National Council of Jewish Women, Ashoka, NASA,  and The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership where she worked with the U.S.D.A. and senior leaders from the Washington D.C. city government.  
 
Julie serves on the faculty of New Ventures West, an International Coach Federation accredited coaching school, is a Senior Fellow at the Babson College Lewis Institute for Social Innovation and a founding faculty member for the MFA program in Design for Social Innovation program at the School for Visual Arts (New York).  As a Senior Research Associate at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, Julie supported executives and managers in effectively catalyzing change toward more responsible and sustainable business practice through applied research, consultation, coaching and facilitating a peer-to-peer learning network of corporate responsibility executives from eight Fortune 500 companies. Julie is a Certified Integral Coach, Certified Hakomi Practitioner and holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Boston College. 
 
Julie loves to dance, is a long-time yoga practitioner and has a well-developed spiritual practice that integrates inner development and mindful engagement in the world. She has three grown sons she adores and enjoys.
