Lean Six Sigma

Make a measurable difference in your career and in the effectiveness of your organization through our Lean Six Sigma Certification courses.

The program builds on the Center’s extensive experience in providing leadership development education programs to mid-career professionals in the public sector, in designing and guiding project-based leadership learning experiences, and in coaching numerous organization performance improvement teams.  The program addresses the growing need in government agencies and corporations for leaders and other professionals who have the analytical skills, tools and leadership abilities to guide organization performance improvement initiatives that produce results. Professionals who have demonstrated their abilities to lead these kinds of initiatives are in high demand.

Students can earn both Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt Certification and will receive a certificate of course completion from GW. You will also receive 12 Continuing Education units.

Working in n conjunction with MoreSteam.com, a leading online international Six Sigma content provider, we are able to offer a high-level content, industry standard project and statistical software and individual project coaching and certification.

Utilizing a blended learning approach that combines online delivery with individual coaching sessions and the development and implementation of a Lean Six Sigma project, course participants will learn to use Lean and the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) roadmap to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint the root causes of those problems, and institute new protocols to greatly improve processes.
